Here is our introduction of BWMS Supply to support your vessel performance and maintain goods marine environment together with Us. Feel free to consult and ask to us about BWMS (Ballast Water Treatment Management System).

Ballast Water Management means mechanical, physical, chemical, and biological processes, either singularly or in combination, to remove, render harmless, or avoid the uptake or discharge of Harmful Aquatic Organisms and Pathogens within Ballast Water and Sediments.

How BWTS Works?

COMMON BWTS TYPE

Electro-catalysis

To kill the microbes, bacteria and viruses in the water and reduce other organics through destroying the cell membrane of the microbe by using the special semiconductor materials under electron excitation and the hydroxyl radicals (·OH) formed by water molecules.

Electrolysis

The electrolysis of NaCl solutions to form sodium hypochlorite, use hypochlorite to kill bacteria, viruses, etc.

UV

Ballast water treatment with the UV system is achieved through a simple and efficient two stage process. Upon uptake the sea water is first passed through a back washing filter (1st Stage). The filtered sea water then passes through a UV chamber (2nd stage) where ultra-violet light is used to disinfect the water prior to entering the ballast tank. On discharge, water from the ballast tanks passes through the UV chamber only for a second time.
